Kiree
Founded in 1999 by the esteemed leader Ari Kunton, Kiree began as a collective of villagers from Kiriwong village, Nakhon Sri Thammarat. Their ethos revolved around three core concepts:
- Aligning work with the local lifestyle.
- Applying local wisdom in their craft.
- Ensuring the production process does not harm the environment.
Today, Kiree is overseen by Ari's descendants, Pure and Pink, who uphold their mother's cherished principles. The brand remains rooted in the community, with a notable feature being its hand-painted products using the batik technique. These creations are dyed with natural pigments sourced from local plants such as mangosteen leaves, rambutan peels, and bitter bean skins, among others.
With a deep commitment to both the local community and environmental preservation, supporting Kiree means supporting the right kind of business.
